My goal is to help save seniors and their families time, stress, and money when buying/selling real estate by creating and executing a custom, concierge plan to meet each client’s housing needs, timeline, and financial goals.

I work as a coach and trainer with agents with a heart for serving seniors, and as a referral real estate agent for people around the US and Canada who want to be connected with an agent who serves seniors at my signature levels of Excellence & Empathy.

For my husband and me, the need to, and the dream of owning our first home was challenging to achieve. Our family immigrated from Cuba 7 years ago. Coming from a communist country with just no options, opportunities, nor right to choose even on the most basic thing, never mind proper housing.

The last group of agents I coach are those who are coming into real estate as a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th career, as seniors themselves. The parameters for building a successful business in your late 50s, 60s or even 70s are very different. Strategies need to be developed for what I call a “short run way” for success, where well-defined goals are critical.

Cathi’s experiences and lessons-learned building a successful seniors-focused real estate business inspired her to share her “Your Transition Partner” model by training and coaching agents across the U.S. and Canada who also want to serve seniors at levels of “excellence & empathy”.  Training and program development come easily to her.  In her career prior to real estate, Cathi designed education programs on local and national levels.

Cathi advocates for seniors in her North Dallas community by supporting local senior-focused organizations. She is co-founder and co-chair of the national Serving Seniors Real Estate Mastermind & Referral Network, and founder and co-chair of the Network of Real Estate Agents Serving Seniors in North Texas.

She has been married to her husband, Ned Hogan for more than 25 years. Together, they spoil a Westie named Gracie and love to travel by car and cruise ship.  In her spare time, Cathi can be found browsing in local consignment stores and estate sales!

The Can Do Chronicles I am a strong believer in the power of stories because they open us up to understanding life, its mystery and its lessons more dynamically. The Can Do Chronicles recounts my changed heart and life following a series of challenging life events that include my husband’s job loss, a long distance move, a hip replacement and six months of chemo. Through the struggle, I discovered grace, gratitude and hope enough that I wanted to share in this book. Most of these events happened over 10 years ago, yet the my Can Do attitude has endured through today.

Writing this book required me to own CAN DO fully, deeply and without hesitation. I believe that I am called to share my story. My hope is that people who read my story and learn about how I was able to knock that well-worn chip off my shoulder will make a connection and find inspiration to focus their lives on what they CAN DO. I want as many people as possible to discover the energy, joy and hope that an attitude of gratitude can bring in a world that is filled with struggles, fears and way too much CAN’T DO!
